Check In: Continentale Hotel
June 24, 2013
There has never been a better time to visit Florence, (except for maybe the Renaissance) and we have the perfect place for you to stay.
Designed by Florentine architect Michele Bonan, this romantic and inviting atmosphere is the ideal place to stay while taking in the fashion, history and culture Florence has to offer.
Perched on top of a 13th century medieval tower, Bonan incorporated design elements of 1950’s Italian film and fashion. Large black and white photographs of the great Italian designers are incorporated into the rooms and suites.
Colorless linens and white modern furniture create an airy feeling throughout the common areas, halls and dining rooms.
There is an incredible attention to detail throughout the hotel, with accessories chosen to compliment the simple, naturally lit rooms. Handmade leather trunks are used as desks while antique clocks are used as a side tables.
Overlooking the Ponte Vecchio, the recently opened "La Terrazza" Bar on top of the hotel’s Consorti tower is just a stone throw away from Brunelleschi's Dome, the Uffizi Gallery, and Giotto's Bell Tower.
Fittingly, the Continentale is own by the Ferregamo family. Guests of the Continentale can enjoy a complimentary visit to the Salvatore Ferragamo museum as well as exclusive conditions for Ferragamo purchases. We’ll see you there!
