There’s a newcomer to the Oak Brook, Illinois, design scene, and whether you’re looking for luxury home furnishings or a stunning spot to dine, you’ll want to pay a visit. RH Oak Brook, The Gallery at Oakbrook Center, officially opened its doors to the public on September 24. Here are three things to know about the new design destination before you go.

Enjoy year-round alfresco dining at the first RH Rooftop Restaurant in Illinois

At the Rooftop Restaurant, you can dine in style underneath a dramatic atrium. With retractable glass walls, the restaurant gracefully extends from indoors to out, opening onto a European-style garden complete with trellised London plane trees and bubbling fountains. Prefer a drink instead of a full meal? Stop in at the adjacent Wine Bar for a glass of your favorite vintage or bubbly before perusing the gardens.

Located on the second floor, this 5,000-square-foot studio is the place to go if you’re in need of some design know-how. From reimagining single rooms to furnishing full homes, their designers can help you ideate on how to create spaces tailored to your aesthetic and needs.

Shop by level, with RH Interiors on the main floor, RH Modern on the second and RH Outdoor on the third

Upon entering through the glass-and-steel doors on the main level, guests will pass barrel-vaulted halls leading to carefully curated spaces decorated with pieces from RH Interiors. Heading up one level, visitors can immerse themselves in an assortment of modern furnishings, décor, lighting and textiles from RH Modern. And on the rooftop, a series of RH Outdoor lounge spaces showcase the collection in its natural setting.
