From Miami to Palm Beach, these design outposts are worth stopping by if you’re on the hunt for home goods, furnishings and other luxury finds.
1. DCOTA recently welcomed luxury textile brand Pierre Frey (1855 Griffin Rd., Suite B-101), above, where design enthusiasts can peruse the company’s full range of lines including Braquenie, Fadini Borghi, Boussac and Le Manach, as well as a designated area showing bespoke rugs and carpets.
2. As immense as the brands it houses, the newest outpost from Luxury Living Group (50 NE 39th St.) is hardly diminutive. Located in the heart of the Design District, the Miami location boasts 32,000 square feet and three display levels featuring Fendi Casa, Bentley Home and Trussardi Casa, to name a few.
3. The Design District also beckoned high-end Italian furnishings showroom 4141 Design (30 NE 39th St.), where an inky interior complements the crisp, clean lines of furniture from the likes of Maxalto, Vitra and MDF Italia. In addition to furniture and kitchen and bath designs, the showroom also features wall units, hardware, lighting and closets.
4. Partners in both life and work, Andre Ruebner and his wife, Neoly Lika Williams, opened contemporary kitchen emporium Global Kitchen Design (2218 S. Dixie Hwy.) this past December in West Palm Beach, where visitors can peruse sleek vignettes featuring European-designed cabinetry and countertops from Leicht alongside such Miele appliances as steam ovens and cooktops.
