After outgrowing her former Florida outpost in size and style, artist Amy Moglia Heuerman has opened her namesake Amy Art Gallery + Studio in the Naples Design District, just one block north of her original location.

“My paintings tend to be large, and they needed more space so that my clients can step back and view them in a broader context,” says Heuerman, who chose the spot for its contemporary architecture, raw open layout and soaring wraparound glazing. “The 30-foot-tall windows, beautiful light and loft-like feel established the look I wanted.”

Stop by the working studio, where the artist can often be found painting, and view roughly 50 pieces that will rotate in the exhibit space on a continual basis. While her bright and happy paintings lean toward abstract expressionism, expect a range of depictions, including seascapes, impressionist florals and her popular “The Girls” series. There’s also a salon meant for artful conversations.
