Launch: Baker Hesseldenz Studio
Known for its dramatic luxury furniture and interiors, Baker Hesseldenz Studio carries pieces, including millwork and upholstery, that are made to order and produced in-house at its factory in downtown Tucson, Arizona, while the Lucite and bronze works are procured from local small businesses nearby.
The company’s new collection, which debuts at WestEdge Design Fair in Santa Monica in October, continues the mix of refinement and a dash of punk rock rebellion. Included in the collection are the Casper swivel chair, a chaise version of the woven bronze-backed Dudley chair, and the Didem cocktail tables, available in a range of finishes and intended as functional art.
