The Benjamin Moore 2023 Color Of The Year Provides A Cheery Outlook

Details

Benjamin Moore’s 2023 Color Of The Year, Raspberry Blush.

You could say the Benjamin Moore 2023 Color Of The Year is meant to spark joy. The leader in paint and color has named Raspberry Blush the hue to watch for 2023. A saturated blend of red, orange and pink, the warming shade offers a hopeful attitude for the year ahead.

How Benjamin Moore decided on the 2023 Color of the Year

When faced with selecting its much-anticipated COTY, Color Marketing & Development Director Andrea Magno shared with Luxe that the brand was ready to take this year’s pick to the next level—and let it make a bold statement. While last year’s October Mist, a lovely, soft sage, was anchoring and individualistic, Raspberry Blush is all about positivity and joie de vivre—something that Magno and team believed the world was finally ready for.

How to use Raspberry Blush at home

Of the best places to use the color, Magnon points to the dining room, powder room or entry, saying “It’s unexpected, but welcoming, and draws you in.”

Reddish-pinks are no strangers to Color of the Year palettes

Reddish-pinks have made a cameo in Benjamin Moore’s curated palettes from the past two years: Rosy Peach was named a color trend in 2021, and Wild Flower in 2022, so it’s safe to say that pink has been on the color trends radar for some time, and after a few years, has evolved to the perfectly punchy shade of Raspberry Blush.

More colors to have on the radar for 2023

Next year’s curated palette is as equally bold as its Raspberry Blush color star. Fellow standouts include Wenge, a velvety chocolate brown, Starry Night Blue and North Sea Green. “Each color has its own personality and tells its own story,” says Magno.

So, our major takeaways? Trending colors will continue to skew warmer, and eye-catching wall color is coming back to the forefront. We can’t wait.
