More than 20 architects, designers and artists will be featured in an international experiential showcase in Miami next month — just in time for Art Basel.

For three decades, Casacor events have brought together industry professionals in six countries across Latin America. On Dec. 1, the first North American iteration of the exhibit will open to the public at Rise Brickell City Centre.

Running through Dec. 18 — and thus overlapping with Basel and Miami Art WeekCasacor Miami centers around the urban living experience, with rooms spanning across three penthouses in one of the property’s residential towers.

Interior spaces and outdoor installations will feature designs by experts including landscape architect Fernando Wong (who’s behind such local projects as The Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club and ICA Miami) and architects Suchi Reddy, Guilherme Torres and Frida Baranek.

Art from the likes of Carola Bravo, Flora + Form Studio and Joan Hall will touch on timely topics, such as climate change and immigration. Pieces will be featured in apartments, as well as in interstitial spaces, like hallways and connectors.

In addition to enjoying music and culture, attendees should expect the latest in furnishings, color trends, textiles, lighting, home accessories and more.

The decision to bring the event to Miami speaks to the area’s cosmopolitan reputation and its evolving creative scene.

“Many ideas have evolved in the 30-year history of Casacor in Latin America, and we look forward to showcasing Miami’s character through its eclectic growth in design, art, culture and its undeniable global appeal in a beautiful, urban environment,” Casacor Miami CEO Lucio Grimaldi says.

Tickets to the showcase are $25 for general admission, or $15 for students, pre-tax. A donation to partner charity Voices For Children Foundation is optional.

Casacor Miami will be located at Rise Brickell City Centre, 88 SW 7th St. in Miami.
