“Out of adversity comes opportunity,” Benjamin Franklin once said. With interior designers forced to rethink how they work in 2020, Chicago-based James Thomas Interiors decided the time was right to launch virtual design services. Homeward focuses on one or two rooms, either a light refresh or a decorating project (not remodeling or new construction). It starts with an onboarding consultation followed by a one-concept space plan, mood board and product selections.
