Rarely does a beachside hotel conjure images of an ultra-hip midcentury modern space, but that’s exactly what Christina Tello of Tello Interiors delivered when Portland’s VIP Hospitality Group enlisted her to give Coho Oceanfront Lodge in Lincoln City, Oregon (1635 NW Harbor Ave.), a refresh unlike any in its 30-plus-year history.
A typical beach palette was updated through the use of white natural wood and a gradient of grays while an Eames-inspired surfboard table playfully blends the contrasting styles.
The hotel recently announced it will be reopening June 1, 2020.
