Melding his love of fashion with interiors, David Ko has developed a singular style that’s attracted clients including Hilary Duff and Gigi Caruso, becoming one of Los Angeles’ most innovative young designers. He shares his favorite L.A. hangs, from West Hollywood to Echo Park.

A spot for inspiration: With its mix of vintage and contemporary, Hollywood design gallery Seventh House is what I want my future home to look like.

A beloved shop: My sourcing trips always include West Hollywood’s Panoplie—they have that relaxed, refined European look down to a T.

A go-to eatery: I love The Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel. It’s quintessential L.A. and also a great spot for when I want a remote office for the day.

An architectural gem to admire: In WeHo, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture’s HQ, the Schindler House. This 1922 modern home perfectly executes harmony between indoors and outdoors.

A stylish bar for happy hour: El Prado in Echo Park. It’s cozy and chic, and the wood interior is every design lover’s dream!
