Tenoversix

When did you open?

We opened in March in the Little River neighborhood.

Miami seems ideal for your boutique.

We’d been approached often to open in Miami. I consider Tenoversix a cultural amenity: We create a sense of community, interest and fun around our selection of designs. Miami also reminds me of Los Angeles in 2008, when we opened our first location. At that time, L.A. had very few good shops, restaurants, galleries and cool little spots. It has since exploded with culture, and I hope to see the same thing happen in this area.

What drew you to Little River?

The low-slung post-industrial architecture, proximity to great Miami neighborhoods and the area’s creative vision. It could soon be a very early Silver Lake, California.

Tell us more about what’s in store.

We stock a directional mix of emerging, independent fashion and contemporary design. Our mix celebrates unique pieces and beautiful design with a modern, artful slant. The furniture and fixtures are made by our designers and are available for sale too. We also commissioned Hamish Robertson to photograph Miami and we have his artful limited-edition photos exclusively for sale at this location.
