Luxe Announces Editorial Leadership Changes and Exciting New Venture, LUXE DESIGN GUILD

Details

Luxe Interiors and Design is excited to announce the promotion of founding Editor-In-Chief and Vice President Pamela Jaccarino to Chief Creative and Content Officer. Concurrently, the brand is thrilled to share that Jill Cohen is stepping into the role of Editor-In-Chief. Under their leadership, the brand is doubling down on its commitment to the residential architecture and design community and continuing its dominant leadership position in the industry.

Having published more than 150 titles for an array of prestigious designers and brands during her decades in the industry, Cohen is primed to lead Luxe into its next iteration. Cohen’s resume includes roles as the founding publisher of Condé Nast Books; division president and publisher of Random House; and vice president and publisher of Time Warner’s Bulfinch Press. Additionally, she launched her agency, Jill Cohen Associates, in 2006, which was acquired by SANDOW in 2023 and will continue under Cohen’s supervision at SANDOW.

“Showcasing design talent has been my mission from the start,” said Cohen. “I’m excited for the opportunity and cannot wait to celebrate the world of design and interiors in a broader way.” Under Cohen’s leadership, Luxe will remain dedicated to its regional focus. “I like that Luxe is very American. I think a lot of the design magazines are going more global. It doesn’t mean that we’re not all inspired by what’s going on in Europe. But one of the benefits of Luxe is that it reflects the types of houses we have,” said Cohen in an interview with Business of HomeLuxe currently publishes 93 magazines per year across 14 regions in the U.S.

Jaccarino, in her new role, will spearhead the debut of a new and exciting brand offshoot, LUXE DESIGN GUILD, while also serving as Editor At Large for the publication. LUXE DESIGN GUILD is being developed as an industry think tank and business arm that educates, guides, and inspires its member-based network. “The future is exciting for Luxe, and I am energized to bring my creativity and business acumen into this brand expansion, which will be an incredibly powerful resource for the industry.” The program is set to launch in mid-2024 with more details expected soon.

Luxe has built an extraordinary business in the residential design space, and I am incredibly optimistic about the brand’s expansion,” said Adam I. Sandow, Founder and Chairman of SANDOW Companies. “Pam and Jill are well respected and talented design industry powerhouses who bring a high level of expertise, new ideas, and energy to everything that they do.”
