What’s New, What’s Next 2023

  • Date: September 20, 2023
  • Venue: The New York Design Center
  • Location: New York, NY

Luxe Interiors + Design kicked off the Fall design season with three exciting programs during the 15th annual What’s New, What’s Next at the New York Design Center.

We began the day strong with a packed house at the Sherrill Furniture showroom as Luxe Interiors + Design Senior Market Editor, Sarah Shelton, moderated a lively conversation on Designer’s Designing Their Own Homes. Sitting next to industry professionals Lori Paranjape, Duval Reynolds, Jennifer Hunter and Jessica Davis, each panelist shared their insights into their personal home design journeys, in addition to the rewards and challenges designers face when decorating their own spaces.

We rendezvoused at the Arteriors showroom for an exclusive discussion on The Art of Creating Enduring and Iconic Designs, hosted by our Founding Editor in Chief, Pamela Jaccarino, with renowned interior designers and charter members of Arteriors’ guest designer program Laura Kirar and Barry Dixon. Both Barry and Laura shared their thought process on conceptualizing an interior project or collection, how travel and global perspectives have influenced their design work, and what enduring and iconic design means to each of them.

We closed out What’s New What’s Next by celebrating in Brazilian style at the Sossego showroom. Hosted by Luxe Home & Design Editor, Grace Beuley Hunt, Marcia Tucker, and Tina Ramchandani, the event gathered over 100 design pros who stopped in to toast the New York Design Center and What’s New What’s Next on another great event, while enjoying live music, the ‘Brazilian 75’ signature drink, select wines, and Brigadeiro Bakery pastries.

Cheers to another successful What’s New, What’s Next at the New York Design Center!
