Fashion brand Faherty, known for casual-luxe beachwear, has arrived on Main Street in Sag Harbor in a space by New York City designer Ryan Lawson, marking his seventh collaboration with the company’s founders and twin brothers, Alex and Mike Faherty.

Like the brand’s other six locations–two in Manhattan, two in California and two in Massachusetts (one of which is seasonal)–the store exudes a beach-house sensibility, largely driven by a custom pergola in the center of the 800-square-foot boutique. Marine-inspired pecky-cypress-lined walls give a nod to the town’s nautical history and bring an earthy, organic element to the shop. Unique antiques and decorative collectibles are artfully layered throughout the space and lend a familial warmth to match the brand’s relaxed style.

The new Hamptons outpost speaks to the background of the brothers, who were raised in Spring Lake, New Jersey.

“What’s special about Sag Harbor is it’s a small town at heart,” Alex says. “It reminds us of where we grew up. It’s family-oriented, with a lot of mom-and-pop shops and a welcoming tight-knit local community.”
