In 1961, Fred Segal founded his eponymous L.A. lifestyle boutique, pioneering the shop-in-shop concept and quickly becoming known as “the curator of cool.” Fast-forward to this spring and the brand (now helmed by business partners Blair Carlton and Keith Granet) has launched its first dedicated home decor shop at HD Buttercup in Culver City.

“It’s becoming a destination for quality home design, and we wanted to be front and center in this furnishing hub,” says Carlton. “We wanted to provide a launching pad for artisans who have beautiful products but who may not have access to exposure at the level a Fred Segal Home store can provide,” adds Granet.

Alongside classic pieces like rock-and-roll and fashion photography from Peter Fetterman Gallery and vintage Donghia Murano-glass lamps, visitors will find surprises including accessories from Opame Collective, game tables from Impatia, pilates reformers from Frame Fitness and crystals from The Gem and I.
