8 Items That Nod To Bunny Mellon's Love Of Gardening

Bunny Mellon was known for her green thumb. One of the many properties she shared with her husband was Oak Spring, a 4,000-acre farm in Virginia that housed thoroughbred breeding and racing operations, barns and hunting grounds. It was reserved for entertaining the most highbrow of guests, from U.S. politicians to Queen Elizabeth II. Inside the greenhouse’s central pavilion (shown), doors canvassed in custom trompe l’oeil murals feature Mellon’s favorite things–baskets, sapphire wedding bands and a denim hat.

Here, we round up 8 pieces that pay homage to her love of gardens.
