A New Chapter for Luxe Interiors + Design
What’s more exciting than a new adventure? For me, it’s a thrill to step into the role of Editor in Chief of Luxe Interiors + Design. Let me introduce myself. I’ve dedicated my career to publishing “coffee table” books for interior designers and architects. My roles have included producer, creative director, agent and storyteller. All these years of advocacy have made me the ultimate cheerleader for a subject that has long fascinated me. I am ready to bring the same joyful, energetic and enthusiastic spirit to Luxe.
I’m in awe of the breadth and depth of content we produce. With more than 14 regional issues and over 90 magazines published each year, we sit at the center of the design world. Our team has their fingers on the pulse of style-minded homeowners from coast-to-coast, which gives us an incredible perspective. I’m eager to share this with you as we showcase the industry’s wide range of talent.
Anyone who loves design knows that no great residence is static, and new ideas and elements keep things relevant and stimulating. The same is true for good publications and, while Luxe will continue to publish breathtaking spaces, you can also expect a refreshed look, intriguing features and a more robust digital presence in the days to come.
I am forever grateful to Chairman Adam Sandow for entrusting me with the future of Luxe and to founding editor Pam Jaccarino for building this remarkable platform.
My team and I are brewing with ideas for the future, and I hope you will join us on this adventure.

What’s next for Luxe? A digital upgrade, a brand refresh, and more creative interiors throughout the book.
What are you most excited about as Editor in Chief? Meeting new talent. It’s been so invigorating to see so much creativity.
What makes Luxe stand out from the competition? I think the breadth of regions we have and the enormity of the submissions. We have this unique seat to look at beautiful interiors across the country.
Can you share a sneak peek of any upcoming features? What I love about July/August is that it highlights all of the places we escape to at the end of the summer: from Tahoe to Jersey to the Hamptons to Florida, it’s a beautiful assortment of the resort lifestyle.
What makes a home especially memorable? When the architecture, interiors and landscape come together seamlessly.
How has your past in book publishing prepared you for the world of Luxe? It’s kind of been the perfect preparation because I’ve traveled to all of our regions creating books. I’ve been meeting designers and working with architects for so long, getting kind of an intimate look at their life, that it’s given me a great understanding of all the work that goes into what they do.
What’s the best design advice you’ve ever heard? Don’t worry about the stains, just enjoy living in the house.
Which design era would you time travel to and why? I would travel to the future. I’m dying to see what’s going to happen with technology in the next 30 years.
What was the first design project you ever worked on? The first design book I ever worked on ended up being a classic. It was House & Garden‘s “Best In Decoration”. It was a collection of the great interior designers—from Mario Buatta to Stephen Sills to Mark Hampton—and it was a look at their own homes and one home that they did for a client. I still have several copies—perhaps the last few in print.
What’s your secret talent? Few people know that I was a fire baton twirler in high school.
