“Drawing inspiration from the region’s majestic bald cypress trees and lush greenery, our design exudes that feeling of natural serenity,” explains Valentina Castellon, principal and hospitality interior design leader at DLR Group. The interior palette, featuring mossy light green and warm white tones, “bathes the spaces in inviting brightness, creating effortless transitions between different areas,” Castellon adds.
Guests can escape to rooms dressed in woods and off-white tones, custom graphic wallcoverings and minimalist details—each with a private balcony—and mingle in indoor-outdoor social spaces showcasing works by an eclectic group of local artists. A centerpiece of the hotel is the rooftop pool and its accompanying restaurant and bar, Limón, which presents stunning views of the city.
