San Francisco home store March vases

Hand-thrown black-and-white vases by ceramicist Dana Bechert are among March’s latest offerings.

With the weather warming up, the season of leisurely picnics and lively outdoor dinner parties is coming fast upon us. Just in time for these tantalizing alfresco opportunities, San Francisco-based home store March updates its collection with a new range of tableware and accessories.

Among the latest additions are stoneware bowls and platters by Swiss-born artist Christiane Perrochon, hand-thrown black-and-white vases by ceramicist Dana Bechert and Carla Fernández-designed napkin rings made from traditional Mexican molinillos, or whisks. Though perhaps best known for an impeccably curated selection of kitchen and tabletop pieces, March’s offerings on the furnishings and garden front are not be overlooked. Minimalists can peruse pieces from British artist and designer Faye Toogood, including her iconic Roly-Poly chair, while plant lovers admire the range of brightly colored Brutalism-influenced stoneware planters by artist B Zippy.
