These accommodations range from 1,000 to 2,700 square feet and boast views of Camelback Mountain as well as the restaurants, bars and passersby that contribute to the area’s thrumming energy. Given the penthouses’ appointments, however, visitors may well feel justified in eschewing the nightlife to stay in.
Midcentury modernism meets Old Town Scottsdale style in some surprising ways, like low-slung furniture paired with wood and leather as well as egg baths carved from local limestone. Warhol-esque artwork and pops of desert-inspired color punch up the cool gray palette, while private outdoor balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows give guests even more reasons to stay in and enjoy the view.
