Nido Living

When did you open?

We opened in the Design District in 2013.

What’s behind the name?

Nido is Italian and Spanish for “nest”–we see the way a nest is built as a metaphor for furnishing a home or office.

Why focus on European design?

Aesthetically, my business partner, Tammy Tran, and I are both drawn to the quality and sophistication of European furniture, lighting, closets and wall systems. Some of our best sellers are lighting by Gallotti & Radice, dining tables by Riva 1920 and Draenert, and Arketipo’s Atlas sofa.

What’s new for summer?

We recently added two lines that will be in the showroom in June. Rimadesio offers closets, wall systems and interior doors constructed mainly from glass and aluminum. Agape is a luxurious line of bathroom products and furnishings from Italy.
