Discover what’s new and next in the biz during NYCxDESIGN’s six-day celebration of ideas and inspiration.

Running May 13 through May 18, Design Days encourages the creative community to come together to share ideas and unlock inspiration through virtual and in-person themed sessions orchestrated to encourage discussion around New York City’s design ecosystem.

Starting with Architecture Day, sponsored by Eventscape, and concluding with Digital and Technology Day, sponsored by Material Bank, programming includes talks, exhibitions, open houses, virtual screenings, live tours and student showcases. Among the highlights: Design Days at 200 Lex, the Architecture and Design Film Festival (ADFF): Virtual Cinema, Madison Avenue Art & Design Weekend, the Radiator Show, and the sixth annual NYCxDESIGN Awards.

For an interactive experience sure to inspire, design enthusiasts near and far can take a self-guided journey through five of New York City’s most creative neighborhoods: South Bronx, Long Island City, Soho + Tribeca, Southwest Brooklyn, and St. George. The virtual tours offer looks at the architecture, studios and landmarks that define each artistic hub.

Further contributing to the week’s convivial spirit is the unveiling of the IMPACTxDESIGN winners. The competition, launched in March in partnership with Caesarstone, invited designers to pitch proposals for outdoor installations in Dumbo Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan. The completed spaces will be unveiled at the NYCxDESIGN Festival this November.
