The Pacific Northwest continues to attract top design boutiques. Here, we take a peek at three new or expanding local hot spots.

Flora and Henri (401 First Ave. S., Seattle), shown above, has transformed from a children’s design boutique to a full-fledged, high-end home goods shop, now carrying brands like Lobmeyr glass, Lue Brass serveware and Hedgehouse textiles. Owner Jane Hedreen designed the space herself with a “very Nordic sensibility and vibe.”

Just a stone’s throw from West End favorites like Tasty n Alder and Heart Coffee sits Alder & Co. (616 SW 12th Ave., Portland), a charming boutique brimming with housewares, apothecary, jewelry and clothing, where guests are greeted by lush tropical leaves and fresh blooms from floral designer Hilary Horvath.

This spring, bountiful floral design shop Fleurish (1818 E. Madison St., Suite D., Seattle) will expand to include owner Nisha Klein’s former nature-inspired shop, Niche Outside, showcasing favorite tools, floral design books, candles and more.
