Pendry Hotels & Resorts has opened their third Southern California location, Pendry Newport Beach, near Fashion Island. Designed by Alessandro Munge, the Italian Canadian designer behind Toronto’s Studio Munge, the 295-room hotel exudes an easy-going spirit with garden-inspired decor that celebrates the lush beauty of the coastal town.

But what’s also making a splash is the property’s myriad amenities, which include SET Steak & Sushi—a steak house-meets-sushi restaurant—Spa Pendry, with its high-tech treatment rooms and cryotherapy chamber, and the hotel’s inaugural members-only venue, The Elwood Club. Members will have access to music, art, travel, fashion, wellness and epicurean experiences through an ever-changing calendar of custom programs.
