Behind Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta’s Stylish New Look

Details

The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta provides a warm welcome at its city retreat.

Representing the longest-operating property in The Ritz-Carlton portfolio of hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta recently debuted a dramatically different look, bringing the decades-old hotel into the modern era.

Dallas-based hospitality designer Jenny Holt’s scheme for the property’s 444 guest suites paid tribute to the evolution of Atlanta, pulling inspiration from the urban landscape and lush trees practically synonymous with the City in the Forest.

Hues deployed for wall coverings, lobby decor and guest rooms include verdant greens, sky blues, steely purples and silvers that draw their color cues from the sleek high rises and vegetation surrounding the property. As another nod to the city, the hotel features custom-commissioned artworks by local talent Erin Palovick.

Guests can also enjoy resort-like lavender-and-blue bathrooms with marble walk-in showers and floating vanities set behind sliding barn doors, as well as the chic new vibe of the hotel’s signature steakhouse, AG, which has been overhauled entirely–from menu to aesthetics.
