The CEH is taking things offline.
That’s right: The popular online purveyor of high-end vintage and bespoke furniture now has a brick-and-mortar location in Dallas. Clients accustomed to scrolling the company’s Instagram page can stroll its beautiful showroom floor beginning late-September.
Founded in 2013 by Justin and Diana Evans as an online-only resource, the Texas-based brand quickly amassed a dedicated following and the attention of top designers across the country. Fast forward to today, and the couple now have a 10,000-square-foot industrially zoned building that houses not only their new showroom but also an office, storage and a full workroom dedicated to the carpentry and finish on their widely acclaimed furnishings.
Think of the showroom as a real-life influential Instagram page. The space itself serves as a point of inspiration, with items on the floor not available for purchase but instead meant to illustrate the world of possibilities available (in terms of size, finish, hardware, material, etc.) when customizing a new piece or, in the case of antique styles, sourcing a similar one.
The display pieces include both antiques and a handful of items from The CEH label line, of which there are hundreds of designs including dressers/chests, credenzas/buffets, tables, beds, seating and accessories. Simply select the size, material and configuration that suits your project et voila! The CEH will get to work hand-crafting your very own Instagram-worthy piece.
The showroom seems like a natural progression, given the frequent customer requests Justin and Diana received to see their wares in person. Visits to the showroom are by appointment only, with first preference in available time slots given to the trade. “We look forward to the face-to-face interaction, especially with the wonderful and loyal clients in Dallas who have made our growth possible and supported us from the beginning,” says Diana.
We’ll double-tap to that.
