After working in sales in the Dallas design industry for more than a decade, Jessica Craig Pinzon channeled that experience into creating Pholio Co, a boutique rep and product consulting agency with a studio space where her interior designer clients can visit and interact with the brands she represents. With studio director Emily McNeal by her side, the industry maven dishes on her latest endeavor.

Describe what your company does. We connect interior designers with creative resources and hands-on service. Our studio is a great place to gather inspiration, but we focus on learning the clients’ needs and delivering the right products to fill their gaps. We hand-deliver samples the same day and respond via text, email or phone to pricing inquiries in a flash. We want the designers to feel we are an extension of their firm.

What inspired Pholio Co? I’ve pioneered multiple lines, set up showrooms and managed other showrooms, and I knew what I wanted to accomplish and where I could fit into the market. It was a natural next step.

Tell us about the type of products you showcase. We carry textiles, wallcoverings, rugs, tile, outdoor furniture and much more, from brands such as Brentano, Greige Textiles, Iona Crawford, Kinnasand and Larette Design, just to name a few.

What are your main goals? We don’t want to be encumbered by a showroom’s upkeep and changeover, so we use displays similar to the European style that can be easily rotated and recycled as the market warrants. We’re part sample room, part resource library, part workspace and part showroom.
