Will Hunt Lewis’ distinguished career in design spans decades. He ran his own business—a home furnishings, gift and full-service floral and event studio—before stints at Jonathan Adler, One Kings Lane and Kravet. Having relocated to Houston, he has now embarked on his next endeavor: Hunt & Bloom. Read on for details about this storefront and online shop.

What inspired the name? Hunt is part of my name, obviously, but I’m also relentless in my hunt for the best furnishings and decor. Bloom comes from my background in floral design and horticulture. Putting the two names together had such a nice ring.

Describe the shop. The store is a tiny vault filled floor-to-ceiling with treasures. We’ve left no inch uncovered, so exploring is truly a magical hunt! We maximize every square foot, displaying a large collection of products—from wallpaper to entertaining necessities—in a small amount of space. We also offer custom upholstery, rugs and bedding.

What distinguishes you? We blend old and new. Our assortment of vintage and antique pieces is compelling because we search the globe tirelessly for the best of the best. At the same time, we have carefully curated a variety of new styles. We want our selection to tell a very clear story about how we like to live and design.
