Pulled from LUXE’s regional features, these refreshingly original outdoor retreats are as distinctive as their locations.

A Vibrant Beverly Hills Abode

Intended to “function as a sculptural element,” this shapely Beverly Hills pool was also conceived to architecturally harmonize with the house itself, particularly the oval canopy cantilevered above it, says designer Ferial Sadeghian.

Waterfront Views At A Modern Washington Residence

For an outdoor stainless-steel spa nicknamed “the crab pot,” landscape architects Brian Gregory and Randy Allworth employed concrete and ipe wood to create the pool’s sunken profile, allowing for unimpeded views of Washington’s Hood Canal.

Serenity Awaits At This Arizona Escape

Boasting two dozen hydrotherapy heads, this wellness-focused pool and spa—a “spool,” as landscape architect Janice Parker playfully refers to it—was specifically designed to mirror Arizona’s rugged mountains with its “rough, textural stone” hardscaping.

A California Dwelling With Seamless Connections To Nature

With its rustic hardscaping and darkly colored lining “blending into the bucolic landscape,” this Northern California pool by landscape architect Todd Cole further melds into nature with its infinity edge.

A Cool + Colorful Palm Beach Pad

To create something “visually appealing and unexpected,” landscape designer Keith Williams enlivened a West Palm Beach pool, which is nestled within a lush garden, with blue-and-white stripes along its inside border.

A Unique Midwest Marvel

The blue plaster and tile of this Illinois pool “reflects the deep, rich color of adjacent Lake Michigan,” notes landscape architect Sara Furlan. The surrounding multi-level terrace, which features limestone plank paving, accommodates outdoor dining and lounging.
