STAY AWHILE
Tucked inside the luxurious European-style suites of The Bowery Hotel in downtown New York, guests remain blissfully unaware of the hustle and bustle just outside. Each suite contains a spa-like bathroom with a roomy walk-in shower. Crisp, all-white marble covers the space, punctuated by antiqued brass frames and fixtures. Rain shower heads and Le Labo bath products invite guests to treat themselves to a moment of relaxation–and isn’t that the reason for a vacation?

BOHO VIBES
“Nomade Tulum mixes the bohemian with the chic so effortlessly and beautifully, and I just knew I needed to bring that same aesthetic into a project.”

“The inspiration of the bathroom was to emanate a luxurious modernity. Sleek lines of metal and wood are contrasted with light tile for a calming spa-like experience.

SEA-SPIRATION
Our goal was to bring a bright and refreshing spa-inspired quality to the bath. The blue enamel tile was selected to shimmer like the crystalline azure waters of the Mediterranean.

POSH PLUNGE
Nothing says luxury hotel bath quite like a freestanding tub. Duravit recently introduced the DuraSquare freestanding tub, as part of a larger collection inspired by the juxtaposition between sharp edges and flowing lines. The architectural tub specifically is crafted with DuraSolid, a mineral material that feels warm to the touch. “The manufacturing process using DuraSolid creates a bathtub with a matte, velvety finish that truly provides a spa-like experience,” says Tim Schroeder, president of Duravit USA. It offers a designated space for relaxation, he says, “visually carving out its own calming retreat within the bathroom.”

GESUNDHEIT GLAM
If anyone can transform a run-of-the-mill utilitarian tissue box cover into a chic home decor item, it’s Jonathan Adler. This past fall, Adler released the Canaan tissue box, composed of sleek black-and-white marble. It’s the perfect piece to ease upscale design into your own bathroom. As Adler explains, “Just because you’re at home doesn’t mean you can’t feel like you’re living in a five-star suite.” We couldn’t agree more.

SPA SERVICE
Elad Yifrach, founder and creative director of L’Objet, proved he knew his way around bath products when he devised Parfums de Voyage, the company’s home fragrance line, with master perfumer Yann Vasnier. This past year, Yifrach and Vasnier teamed up again to round out the apothecary collection with a selection of sprays, salts, soaps and lotions. “Scents hold the power to transport us immediately to a place in time or recapture a mood,” says Yifrach.
