A Boca Raton Condo Gets A Tailored Look
When a homeowner decided to move closer to his office, he immediately invited designer Brett Sugerman, who had worked on his previous homes, and Sugerman’s wife and design partner, Giselle Loor Sugerman, to take a look at the ocean-view condo in Boca Raton. Little did they know he’d hire them on the spot.
“We usually take a lot of time to interview the client and build the program, but we didn’t need to do that here,” says Brett Sugerman. “Because of our trusting and respectful relationship, he gave complete freedom with the design.”
The designers gutted the space and reconfigured the layout to create an elegant flow of rooms — from the lobby into the main living space, then on to the media room, guest room and home office, culminating in a grand master bedroom suite with spectacular walk-in closets.
“He didn’t ask for it but we knew he’d love it,” says Giselle Loor Sugerman, who with her husband took inspiration from men’s fashion to select the neutral palette and richly textured materials used throughout the residence.
“The home in its entirety exceeded my expectations,” says the homeowner. “My fiance and I can’t pinpoint any one aspect that’s more special than any other. The look, feel and functionality of each area works perfectly for us.”
