Go Behind Cabbonet's Expansion + Explore Their New L.A. Showroom

British design brand Cabbonet has recently opened at the Pacific Design Center. There, custom kitchens including signature pieces like the Apothecary Cabinet, which features crystal spice drawers crafted from a 1920s mold, or the Floating Island, which cleverly disguises plumbing with reflective finishes, can now be seen firsthand. The new space also highlights Cabbonet’s expansion into closets with innovative storage solutions, adjustable mirrors and folding or pivoting glass entry doors.
Meticulously crafted in European workshops, the brand marries new technologies with traditional techniques. “Our aesthetic can best be described as modern eclectic with touches of nostalgia,” says Andrew Hays, who founded the company in 2019. “Our bespoke finishes celebrate tactility: doors and sliding panels made from woven metal that give a beautiful play on light, sculpted wood surfaces, bespoke hardware and elegant vitrines,” he says. Set within the PDC, in partnership with Steven Cooper of Cooper Pacific Kitchens—who leads the design team—Cabbonet’s Los Angeles showroom is a can’t-miss spot on the L.A. map of luxury design.
