Honoring the husband’s rocker sensibility, designer Noz Nozawa lined his home office in San Francisco with bold patterns, from the zebra-print Calico wallcovering to the graphic Flor carpet. A Noir ebony-and-steel bookcase displays his sneaker collection.

A Modern Home Office To Emulate
A Schumacher wallcovering lines the wife’s office in this San Francisco home by Sarahliz Lawson, which features a CB2 sofa, a BDDW desk chair and Visual Comfort lighting. The built-ins were made by Rabello’s Custom Cabinets. The vintage rug was purchased at a fundraiser organized by Los Angeles furniture designer Cooper Reynolds Gross to benefit first responders.

In a posh New York City duplex by Gideon Mendelson, this colorful home office is a study in purple with Benjamin Moore’s Hint of Violet on the walls and Mauve Blush on the trim. The Modernist lacquered desk from John Salibello Antiques is flanked by an armchair from Van Den Akker Antiques and an orange Dan Johnson for Selig side chair.

Proof That Gray Doesn't Have To Be Boring
Designer Andrea Goldman used a gray flannel wallcovering from Phillip Jeffries to set the tone in the secluded study of this Chicago retreat, which features a Stark rug and a ceiling fixture by The Urban Electric Co. Goldman designed the desk and the armchair, which is upholstered in Theo Fabric.

This Black Home Office Is A Power Move
Inspired by a page she tore from a magazine, the homeowner of this Chicago abode wanted a moody, all-black office, which designer Sarah Vaile achieved with Farrow & Ball’s Pitch Black. In dramatic contrast are a custom white sofa covered in Kravet linen, a white lacquer desk from The CEH in Dallas and as well as a bold Turkish rug. The colorful decor and design in this office make it one of the favorite rooms of the house.
Midcentury Modern Home Office
Tracy Hardenburg crafts a one-of-a-kind space for an enthusiastic client in Dallas. A photograph by Steve McCurry overlooks the study’s sleek trestle desk by Richard Wrightman Design and a black leather tulip chair found on 1st Dibs, which top a flat-weave wool rug from Abrash. The Burled Co fabricated the shelving.

In Los Angeles, a Spanish Colonial Revival abode was transformed by architect William Hefner and interior designer Rodrigo Vargas. Decorative painter Jacqueline Moore embellished a desk by The Flemming Group in the home's contemporary office. The desk chair with nailhead trim is by Century. A lamp from Nicky Rising illuminates the room, while a Plum chaise in a Romo chenille from Thomas Lavin offers an elegant spot to perch.

Though the library was newly remodeled in this San Francisco abode, interior designer Eche Martinez wanted to “make it look like it’s been here forever.” He curated a blend of new and old finds, including a turn-of-the-century Persian Qashqai Kashkooli rug, a Michael Dawkins desk, a Roberto Lazzeroni Ginger swivel armchair, and a pair of 1950s suspended sconces by Maison Lunel. The new space makes for both a chic Zoom background and a rainy day respite.

In a Palm Beach pad designed by Mally Skok, the colorful office shows off the designer’s Brimfield wallpaper in Delft Blue from Monica James; her Emmie fabric in the Multi colorway appears on the valance and antique armchair. Eche Martinez enlivened this classic Bay Area dwelling for a young family. In the office, which doubles as a yoga studio, pillows are covered in handwoven silk ikat. Furnishings include a white parchment desk with curved legs from Sylvan San Francisco and a Womb chair from Knoll with custom wool-blend upholstery. The airy drapery panels are made of Casamance fabric and the antique rug is from Mansour in Los Angeles.

Steve and Brooke Giannetti's clients asked for a small office area off the downstairs guest suite in this Malibu escape. Simple Home Office With Bright English Touches
“One of my favorite pieces is the Maison Jansen writing table,” designer Michael Aiduss says of the desk from Greenwich Living Antiques & Design Centre in the living room of this Connecticut retreat, where Fabricut silk for the draperies and a silk-and-wool Marc Phillips carpet bring lustrous touches. Beside the desk is a vintage stool and a chair in Quadrille velvet; behind it is one of a pair of 19th-century applique panels. A strie Stark fabric covers the armchair.

Building A Wooden Hideaway
DuChateau wood on the floor, walls and ceiling defines this cozy Austin office by Mark Cravotta, which houses a desk featuring rift-sawn white-oak cabinetry wearing Deltana hardware from Hardware by Design.
