The Four Seasons Telluride Unveils Plans For A New Wellness Studio
As the first new luxury development in Telluride in 15 years and with architecture by Olson Kundig, the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences was already on track to shake up the hospitality scene in the small mountain town and beyond. Now, it’s preparing to offer even more. Recently unveiling its plan for an elevated amenity space by Clements Design, it will feature a 6,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art spa and wellness studio. Offerings will include oxygenation, cryotherapy, light therapy, a hyperbaric chamber, thermal lounge, eight treatment rooms, a bio-sauna, Jacuzzi and cold plunge. All these wellness options will allow guests to acclimate and boost circulation and detoxification, with each room and residence also equipped with an in-house oxygenation system to aid with altitude adjustment. “People in Telluride are active all day long, from fly fishing and biking to hiking and skiing,” says Dev Motwani, managing partner of developer Merrimac Ventures. “We felt that recovery was important, and wellness ties to that.”
