At this fall’s High Point Market, the Momeni showroom welcomed visitors into an atmosphere shaped by craftsmanship, heritage and an intuitive understanding of how designers work today. LUXE Interiors + Design Executive Director, Editorial and Brand Content, Kathryn Given, toured the presentation, spending time with members of the Momeni family to explore new introductions and the values that have guided the brand for five decades.
President Reza Momeni reflected on the company’s beginnings in 1975, when his father and brother launched a small New York City business dedicated to Persian rugs. The enterprise has since expanded across categories and global production while preserving its identity as a family-owned company. Reza noted that this philosophy extends to the designers, artisans and collaborators who help shape each collection, reinforcing a culture built on trust and long-term partnerships.
During the tour, Kathryn viewed the new Lily Collection with Emily Addison, Head of Branding and Partnerships. Created in response to designers seeking youthful designs with an elevated sensibility, the series introduces patterns that feel playful without appearing juvenile. Scalloped borders, gingham rendered in multiple colorways and a charming Strawberry Fields motif anchor the launch. The five designs in the collection strike a balance that allows them to evolve with the spaces they inhabit.
What stood out most during the tour was the clarity of Momeni’s perspective. The brand continues to expand its offerings, yet its foundation remains rooted in the relationships and values established fifty years ago. This season’s presentation brought together thoughtful new designs, enduring creative partnerships and a multigenerational commitment to the design community that feels both timely and timeless.
