Welcome To Miami, The Museum Of Ice Cream
Cue the countdown to Dec. 13: The hit Museum of Ice Cream‘s fourth iteration is coming to Miami.
After its inaugural success in Manhattan last year (which included a tremendously long line with people sleeping outside the building), plus two sold-out pop-ups in Los Angeles and San Francisco this year, the Museum of Ice Cream is setting up shop in Miami Beach’s Faena District.
Why the South Florida metropolis? Throughout the course of the past 15 months, the museum has prided itself on presenting an inclusive and accessible experience for all patrons, and founder and creative director Maryellis Bunn thought the city’s diverse environment paired well with the brand’s philosophies.
Despite some visual similarities (which you’ve undoubtedly seen sprinkled around Instagram), each of the four locations has a specific design representative of its host city. The Miami location, then, is in a four-story building that showcases Art Deco features and contemporary interiors coupled with ocean views.
If you’re drooling at the chance to be one of the 500,000-plus people to enjoy — and document — this space, tickets will be available online for $38. American Express Platinum Card members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets Wednesday, Nov. 15. All other American Express cardholders can purchase tickets Thursday, Nov. 16. The general public has access starting Friday, Nov. 17. Art Basel attendees had the chance to get a limited amount of preview tickets earlier in the week.
Sprinkle pool, we’re coming for you.
The Museum of Ice Cream, Miami will be located at 3400 Collins Avenue in the Faena District.
