Mountain Views Meet Eco-Luxury At This Scottsdale Tower

Blueprint

Optima Kierland

Green may not be the color that comes to mind when one thinks of new, multifamily housing in the Arizona desert, but award-winning architect David Hovey, Jr. is changing all that with the soon-to-be-completed 7180 tower at Optima Kierland, one of four buildings that contain nearly 2,500 homes.

Designed using the International Green Construction Code (IGCC), the environmentally conscious development brings nature into every space with high ceilings, strong geometric shapes, floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces with dramatic views of the McDowell Mountains and Pinnacle Peak. Inside, open floor plans allow buyers to purchase and combine multiple units for a completely custom feel. Designer screen shades and high-efficiency dual-pane glass help keep residences cool.

Optima’s hallmark lush, hanging gardens and private terraces hint at the expansive rooftop garden above that boasts a sky deck with a first-of-its-kind-in-Arizona running/walking track that is part of the lavish amenities throughout the property.
