Explore The New Palm Beach Design Collective

After debuting their Mabley Handler Home & Design store in West Palm Beach nearly two years ago, designers Jennifer Mabley and Austin Handler found patrons seeking more than just furniture but, rather, multiple resources. Thus, they answered the call with the Palm Beach Design Collective, a 3,000-square-foot space right next door with a robust catalog of fabrics, wallpapers, rugs, pillows, furnishings and more. Below, the couple—who also has offices in New York—discuss what their latest concept brings to the area.

What are some notable offerings at the collective?

Bespoke fabrics and wallpapers from The Vale London, the new fabric collection from Fete Home, a great selection of Palm Beach-perfect rugs from FJ Kashanian and our latest addition: the super-fun line of outdoor furniture and accessories from Business & Pleasure Co.

How is the space organized?

Furniture and accessory vignettes are on the main showroom floor. There’s also an extensive wallpaper, fabric and trim library. Customers can browse the vignettes, dig into the resource library and get assistance with samples, tear sheets and more.

Why was Palm Beach the right fit?

South Florida may be new to our business, but it’s been in our hearts for decades—through travel, projects and design inspiration. As our children grew older and headed off to college, we strategized our Palm Beach location to further complement our design business and personally enjoy the beauty of the area.
