Embrace a theme of celebration with the BADG Joy Lumbar Pillow Cover (at center).
Rest assured: A new collaboration by Pottery Barn and the Black Artists + Designers Guild (BADG) is guaranteed to add a pop of happy to any room—from dining room to pool deck.
Introducing 25 pieces designed through the lens of “Black Joy,” the spring 2022 home collection of bedding, pillows, drink ware, table linens and more nods to the jubilant spirit of conviviality.
The products—which include handcrafted pieces by an organization that empowers female makers in Eswatini in Southern Africa—were stylized with input from three BADG interior designers: Penny Francis, Casi St. Julian, and Lisa Turner.
Exploring themes like “Harmony as a connected community” and “Unity in the quest of inclusion and equity,” the collection strives to draw attention to the bonds and traditions formed around dinner tables and family gatherings big or small.
“For us, ‘Black Joy’ is possibility and empowerment, a celebratory theme that is woven into our collection,” BADG founder Malene Barnett explains. “The pieces within the collection illustrate a shared love of creating meaningful spaces, vibrant in color and joy, that I am excited for our customers to enjoy in their own homes,” adds Pottery Barn President Marta Benson.
Items are priced between $29.50 to $249 and are available at PotteryBarn.com.
