These ‘Quintessential Kitchens’ Are As Dreamy As They Look
The aptly titled second tome from a celebrated kitchen, bath and closet mastermind who’s designed for La Cornue and pop superstars alike, Quintessential Kitchens and Spaces: Volume Two by Matthew Quinn arrived to much fanfare this fall.
The follow-up hardback to Quinn’s 2016 debut has some serious heft: 360 pages of elegant photographs, personal interviews with his clients and a foreword by the illustrious Jamie Drake.
Having begun his career in Atlanta at Design Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio 27 years ago—ultimately assuming its ownership along with husband Ric Parrish in 2002—Quinn now leads a team 25 persons strong, with a new outpost at the Nashville Design Collective and projects around the globe.
Fifteen of these get their dues in this book, which provides a nice cross-section of the firm’s prolific projects from Washington, D.C., to Palm Beach. The best part, according to Quinn? “Fulfilled dreams.”
