An Insider Look At The Colorado Design Scene With Roche Bobois

A year into its debut in Cherry Creek, Roche Bobois’ Denver showroom has solidified the tony neighborhood as a hub for high-end design: The boutique is an elegant, expansive and convenient spot designed to draw from all parts of Colorado and the wider Rockies region. LUXE chatted with showroom manager Benoit Bonaventure to learn more about what’s resonating in the Colorado design scene.

Many visitors are interior designers, shares Bonaventure, who is pleased to provide them with a place to bring clients to experience the furniture in real life. “We’ve always sought to expand our presence, and Denver is an incredible region with exceptional homes,” he says. To celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary in the States, Roche Bobois recently introduced the Bamboo Mood collection—a serendipitous fit for Denver, as Bonaventure notes that Coloradans tend toward organic shapes and textured fabrics with warmer, neutral tones, such as beige or forest green.

On a visit to the Cherry Creek showroom, be sure to also look for the iconic Mah Jong and Bubble collections, which Bonaventure says are the location’s top sellers. “Most of our clients come back to shop for more of our pieces—it’s being a part of the Roche Bobois family,” he sums up. The Cherry Creek boutique is a particularly charming invitation to join in.
