The Details On San Francisco Design Week 2019

San Francisco Design Week - Festival of the Summer

More than 50,000 designers and enthusiasts will gather June 20-28 for San Francisco Design Week, the Bay Area’s largest design festival. During the event, the public will be able to converse with forward-thinking professionals from a range of disciplines–architecture and product design, digital services and fashion–who are reshaping the future.

The week kicks off with an opening-night reception June 20 at the Hub on Pier 27, where guests can mingle, enjoy exclusive programming and explore interactive exhibits, and continues with more than 200 illuminating events including workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions, curated studio crawls and open studios at locations across the city.

Attend conversations with visionary designers, hosted by Autocamp, which offers luxury Airstream accommodations; meet architects Steven Ehrlich and Takashi Tanai, authors of Outside-In: New California Modernism, who will host a book signing; and attend “Inside the Creative World of Ken Fulk,” featuring an inspiring visit to the new St. Joseph’s Arts Society, a former historic church that’s now open to the public.
