Spring is a busy season for New York design lovers. Opening the first day of May, the 46th annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House (last year’s shown) will give 22 designers the opportunity to transform a 15,000-square-foot Upper East Side town house. Two days later, Frieze New York will return to Randall’s Island Park, bringing the first Frieze Artist Award grant recipient: Paris-based Kapwani Kiwanga. Finally, from May 20-23, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center will host the 30th annual ICFF. Among the highlights is the Collective Concept, a capsule exhibit from the Collective Design fair.
