Having garnered a following in West Hollywood, Woven has opened a second gallery at the New York Design Center showcasing vibrant rugs from around the world as well as hand-knotted contemporary designs.
“The NYDC is a destination for designers, so it was the natural choice for us to debut our collection in New York,” says Sam Moradzadeh, the company’s CEO and creative director.
This summer, Woven unveils two new collections: Shodo combines Japanese brushstroke painting with various textures, and Tulu (shown) was inspired by early-20th-century California design.
