Luxe Interiors + Design Austin hosted its inaugural Battle of the Chefs on June 27th in the Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery. Three teams consisting of members of the Austin Design Community and led by local celebrity chefs, competed against each other and the clock to win the master chef title. It was a fantastic evening watching the chefs and cooking teams compete, while raising money for Wonders & Worries. The Celebrity Chefs included Michael Wake with The Funkadelic, Jonathan Leichliter with House of the Rising Tanuki, and James Zoller with TRACE. Teams consisted of design professionals from Barley|Pfeiffer Architecture; Modern Design + Build; Etch Design Group; Apex Audio Video; Dick Clark Architecture; Avenue B Development; Durango Doors; Arete European Kitchens; Ferguson; Foursquare Builders; Laura Britt Design; and Austin Granite Direct. The three wonderful judges were Paulette Pearson, Homes Editor, Luxe Interiors + Design, Anita Erickson with STILE Studio, and Carrie Ciliberto with the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin.
