To lighten the narrow foyer, which was previously dominated by a hefty mahogany front door, designer Andrea Henzlik commissioned craftsman Charles Calhoun of Calhoun Design & Metalworks to fashion a modern glass-and-steel version with sidelights. A pair of Apparatus Talisman sconces, which feature agate and leather accents, illuminate walls brightened by Farrow & Ball’s Slipper Satin paint.
