The pool pavilion with lovely views of the south façade was designed as an extension of the interiors and anchored with a custom pergola draped in 80 yards of fabric. “We wanted to create a private, quiet retreat,” says Connie LeFevre, who outfitted the interior with a daybed, ceramic stools, small concrete table and a steel-and-marble console perfect for refreshments. Art and accessories were selected for their beauty and outdoor durability. An iron-based, zinc-topped table, whose materials echo the natural element in which they find themselves, is surrounded by sturdy yet attractive outdoor seating and adorned with a moss runner and bowl filled with colorful glass balls—both site-specific touches of whimsy. An outdoor seating area, with two oversize armchairs flanking a ceramic stool, offers another place to relax in the poolside ambience.
