Before the remodel, the large entry was a conservatory with a retractable skylight and built-in planters. Residential designer April Gruber reimagined the space while retaining its grand dimensions. She designed the massive board- formed concrete fireplace surround that holds a two-sided firebox and selected the oversize Gregorius Pineo lantern through Kneedler-Fauchère. The Anees Upholstery table is from Sloan Miyasato and the cream-colored rug is by Stark.
