For his lake home at Hawk’s Nest in Crane Hill, Alabama on Lewis Smith Lake, architect Louis Nequette designed a cantilevered screened-in porch, which perches over a boardwalk connecting all the homes along the lake’s shore. Nequette and family’s two-story dock floats in the distance.
