Dana Foster Interiors

Dana’s passion for architecture and design started young. As the daughter of a contractor, Dana spent most of her childhood and young adult life walking through construction sites, where she was exposed to the building of luxury homes, resorts, golf courses, and churches. A high school elective course in interior design and art sparked her passion and set down her educational and career path.

Dana holds a 5-year Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Upon graduation, she relocated to the Seattle area to pursue her design career and live a life surrounded by the art, culture, and nature that epitomizes the PNW. She set out to design interiors grounded in the principals of design and architecture she learned through her studies in the Southwest, while expanding upon her paternal lessons in construction.

Dana spent a decade working at local construction companies, both large and small. She honed her skills as an interior designer while gaining practical knowledge of business and construction processes. With a rich and diverse background in both interior design and construction, Dana Foster founded DTF Design in 2004 which she renamed Dana Foster Interiors in 2020. Her unique background and ability to navigate the landscape of both interior design and construction enables Dana to work closely with contractors, architects, and clients to deliver smooth projects with less stress for the client.

Recognized and respected for diverse and creative interiors, Dana Foster has created timeless interiors with their clientele at the heART of design for nearly three decades. Her expertise in luxury residential design includes many award-winning projects ranging in style from traditional to contemporary and everything in between.
